New York, NY, June, 2006 –   The Maryland Workforce Development Association (MWDA) asked Retensa to present three workshops in the 2006 Raising the Bar Annual Conference.  Attendees of the event will be workforce development professionals who have been facing difficulties in the retention of transitional employees.  Chason Hecht, Retensa’s President, an employee retention expert, and Renee Lee Rosenberg, Retensa’s Senior Consultant, will be presenting on the issues that have continued to challenge workforce development professionals.  The conference is expected to have more than 750 attendees and will be held on June 13th and 14th.

Mr. Hecht will present on creating a “Retention Environment;” the changing expectations of private firms with their employees and why those expectations have changed.  He will discuss the driving forces behind high employee turnover and how workforce development professionals can support the firms they work with to achieve their goals.  Chason will present on the bottom line of retaining a healthy workforce.  He will explore how companies can improve employee health, cut back on expenses while reduce employee turnover as well as real-world successful strategies for targeting these areas.

Ms. Rosenberg will present on how to successfully motivate generation X, generation Y and mature employees.  She will discuss how employees within each generation are best managed and strategies behind them.  She will also highlight ways to better facilitate collaboration across generations to meet business needs.
